I really like the look of these lights, but I was really disappointed with how quickly they drained the C batteries they require. I put in 2 brand new Duracell C batteries in all 3 strands at the beginning of a party one evening, turned them all on, and before the party had even ended, all 3 strands were dead. I replaced the batteries in one of the strands, tried it again another evening, and the same thing happened. The money I saved on getting these cheap rice lights is all going towards batteries now. I'll probably just throw all of these away because it's not worth it to me to keep buying expensive batteries and having to replace them after one evening of usage.
