This is way better than those wind up ones. The batteries last a long time, it has volume control, which is an amazing feature that I didn't know existed, and a ton of songs that don't drive you crazy. My only issue is it only plays 20 seconds of each song before going to the next one. A little annoying, but my baby doesn't seem to care, and it turns itself off after about half an hour, so I eventually tune it out and don't think about it until the next time I turn it back on. All in all, I would definitely recommend.Way better than any wind up. Then 30 minute automatic turn off works great. Each song only plays for about 15-20 seconds though (it doesn’t bother my daughter). Volume control is great and sound is good. They need more like this oneLove the volume control and the variety of songs. It ran for about 30 minutes when we just let it play. Baby slept to it.This is exactly what I was looking for. The music box songs were soft and not irritating or repetitive. I did remove it in the picture because it made the mobile hang too low in a bassinet, but it would be perfect for a crib. I might keep it nearby separately just to play music.Works as advertised. Paired with our mobile, it hangs super low into the crib so it won't work when our baby is older. I'm also just worried about the shear weight of this thing hanging over Baby. I also wanted something that would spin a little faster but, that's a personal thing. All that said, I've used it a lot. I have seen the entire mobile arm hanging to the side on several occasions and I believe it's from the weight of this thing.Works well for what it does. Wish you could control the volume. I put a piece of duct tape over the speaker which has helped a lot. Love how you can have it running with or without music and with or without the movement.This product actually came with the screw driver need to take the battery back off.1) Just 3 levels of music even if the advertisement says otherwise.2) The up/down music control do the same thing .. virtually no difference between them.3) Impossible to rotate without music.4) Probably wont stop after 30 mins... I'm not even trying, returning the product.Why is Amazon letting this fly is concerning ..Doing what was needed, my lil girl was obsessed with it as soon as i put it on. Only thing is, there was no mode for rotation without music like it says. And the volume was too loud for the one i pick for the mobile in my bedroom (i purchased 2), so i had to open it and cut the wires for the speaker, the second is the same, but i want to keep the music for this oneI bought this for the glorious 30 min runtime, and it doesn't disappoint. Great sound, and it's nice to have the option to change the setting to music or no music.The volume control didn't work and there is no option of rotating without music. The price also doubled overnight, which seem like someone is trying to make a quick buck off a defective product. The description did not match the product.
