Description

Beat the Parents Family Challenge is the game of friendly family competition! Everyone competes in four kinds of events: Vision, Agility, Smarts, and Luck. Each event card deck has 27 unique mini games that share that theme. Vision games test your perception and visual memory such as memorizing a picture and then answering questions to see how much you remember. Agility games test your physical skills and dexterity, such as flipping and catching a medal with the card. Smarts games test your knowledge and quick-thinking ability. Rely on your good fortune with Luck games, which leave the outcome purely to chance. By the time all four Event Medals have been collected, the team that has won the most challenges and medals wins the game! With over 100 mini-games available to compete in, Beat the Parents Family Challenge is the ultimate game of family fun!

I've purchased this game more than once. We have used it in multiple ways. The original way is fun, but depending on the age group it can be too easy or too hard. It's cards have been a Godsend. So many different ideas and choices to make the games into group focus activities. We've used the card ideas in Cub scouts, parties, long card rides, idle wait times, and school functions. There's even a gutted set in our "emergency" car bag.Good purchase! This game was fun, but it’s hard for my youngest. Best for a family with kids over 8, but if a parent can team up with the younger ones, it’s lots of fun for a family game night! This is a great game for all ages. It's easy to play and includes a lot of dynamic elements to keep everyone interested. It is really fun to play parents vs. kids and provides opportunities for modeling sportsmanship and healthy competition. Many of the tasks are based on luck, so there really can be a different winner every time you play.Preventasaurus, LLC is a team of speech-language pathologists who specialize in the prevention of speech, language, and feeding disorders. Please feel free to reach out with questions! This game is a lot of fun, but takes a minute or two to figure out how to play - we played with children ages 7 through 9 and the kids argued about who would do what challenges as they all wanted to be involved in the fun tasks, an adult as the leader of their team was needed. We've had a ball playing this over the holidays. Many games are too boring for adults or too challenging for kids. This was perfect for everyone to get involved. Three adults and three kids (age 6, 10 and 12) have all enjoyed playing. My kids are ages 8 and 10 and we played a couple times and we all like it. It's fun because it's not just a sitting game-there is a lot of movement and my kids get a kick out of seeing mom and dad do the competitions!Actually a pretty boring game. We have family game night every Friday and this was probably the worse game we have played so far. My 6 year old daughter was bored. My 8 year old son looked like he would have preferred to be doing anything other than playing this game and my husband and I were trying to rush through it so we could do something more fun.Got his for my daughters 8th birthday she loves to play games as a family so this was perfect. It was fun, we were all laughing at the game where you put a token on your nose and try to get it to fall off with only your nose while lying down! My 4 yr old lost interest half way through, otherwise it was fun for the whole family! Our 7 year old loves this game and often asks if we can have a game night to play it :) a lot of great cards to play and it does get pretty competitive in the best way! lolI bought this to play with my 9 and 10 year olds but they don't really have the focus to listen to the instructions of the mini challenges or cards. The concept of the game is good and I can see how it would be fun though.bought this for my sister and her kids for christmas and it shipped fairly quickly made it in time for christmas. My sister informs me that the kids (6 and 5) love this game and the parents had fun playing as well.Super fun family game.Kids are aged 8 and 11 and love it.Was a gift for my sister’s family! They loved it! Big hit at Christmas!
