You can imagine my disappointment when, upon first using this machine, the impeller would not work. Online help at Tiger Corp. said to go through a steam cycle several times and manually turn the impeller rod, covered with a tea towel, with a wrench. That trick only worked once. When I tried to make mochi a second time, again the impeller would not work and the rod would not turn at all. I now have only a steamer. This was all happened New Year's Eve. Disappointing New Year's morning.
