If you're already an admirer of Burne Hogarth's work you'll find "Jungle Tales of Tarzan" to be a feast for your eyes that will require multiple readings to properly take in. In glorious black and white Hogarth produces a visual tour de force that cements his place among the most influential artists in the comic story telling pantheon. The stories are a product of a different era and have to be judged accordingly. However, the attraction of this book isn't the stories but Hogarth's superb visuals that are worth the price of the book.
